U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Westwego native Beryl Billiot endured years of pain from his five years of service (1985-91) and a life-changing brain tumor diagnosis before finding hope at the Tulane University Center for Brain Health (TUCBH). The center helped him confront his hidden struggles, transforming his journey from mere survival to true recovery with a holistic, veteran-focused approach.
